The Temple of Solomon’s 10-year anniversary!

Temple of Solomon

On July 31, 2014, the Temple of Solomon was inaugurated in a grand ceremony that brought together more than 20,000 members of the Universal Church, as well as, political authorities, celebrities, representatives of the Jewish religion and owners of the country’s largest media outlets.

Commemoration of templeSince its inauguration, more than 30 million visitors have been counted and on Thursday, 11 July, a law was sanctioned by the Mayor of Sao Paulo, to include the Temple of Solomon in the list of main tourist attractions in the city!

As a House of Prayer for all, the Temple is a place that welcomes anyone without judgement, regardless of their background, colour, physical, intellectual or social condition or whether they are from another denomination or religion.

As a result, over the years, the Temple has attracted millions of people from different nationalities who entered the Sanctuary to have a spiritual experience like never before.

“We prepared for this trip for six months and it was a long flight. Entering the Temple and seeing every detail was impressive. I left feeling renewed. I hope to return again and bring my family next time” said one of the visitors.

Social actionThe Temple of Solomon is beyond a mere landmark in Brazil, it is a place where many lives have been transformed. Through the social initiatives aimed at providing essentials to those in need, the Biblical garden tour, daily meetings, spiritual support and much more!

In the last 10 years, there have been endless purposes and events, all with the aim of restoring hope and bringing a solution, through the power of faith, to people’s problems.

Ronaldo de Sá, 42, arrived at the Temple of Solomon in May of last year and expresses that since he started attending the meetings, he feels like a new person: “Today I am reintegrated into society! I have my family and my wife. I also live in a home, because 5 years ago I was living on the streets. When I wasn’t in shelters, I was in parks, lying around with drugs. Today I am free from all that.”

In 2019, the Temple of Solomon hosted a special ceremony, where the life of the former President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, was presented to God.

When we asked what he found most striking during his visit, the former president said: “This place serves as a reminder to those who believe that they can achieve their goals.”

The World Will Burn book launchIn the last decade, the Temple has also held some of the Universal Church’s book launch events, such as “The World Will Burn” in 2020, where the author, Bishop Renato Cardoso also signed books.

Furthermore, in the last 10 years, the Temple has received hundreds of thousands of couples which were married during one of the Marriage Celebrations.

However, the greatest highlights of the Temple of Solomon, are the many lives that have been transformed on the Altar of God.

Pastor Gabriel Nascimento, who had the joy of serving in the Temple of Solomon for two years expressed, “Serving in the Temple of Solomon meant seeing people have an experience with God just because they passed in front of it and were curious to enter inside. It was a privilege to serve there at the beginning of my ministry and learning about Holiness to the Lord in every single detail in the House of God.”

The Temple took 4 years to be built with great care for the souls that would be received and whose lives would be transformed in this place:

“I had the pleasure of helping with the construction of the Temple Solomon. Every stone, wall or feature was done with great fear, attention to detail and love for God’s work. That is our focus in everything we do: to save souls for the Kingdom of God” – Rosangela Gozi.

The results that have been achieved in the lives of the millions of people who have walked through the doors of the Temple of Solomon serve as proof that God’s Word is alive and is being fulfilled in the life of all those who obey His voice:

“Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.” (2 Chronicles 7:15 NKJV)
