Does marriage grow better with time or is it possible for a couple to fall out of love?
Last Thursday, 4 June, during the Love Therapy Seminar, the students learnt that the quality of one’s marriage is a direct reflection of their relationship with God.
In the same way that it is necessary to continuously invest in your relationship with the Holy Spirit by spending time with Him, praying, meditating on His Word, evangelising, etc. For a marriage to succeed constant investment is also a must.
As a Christian matures and has experiences with God, their intimacy and dependency on the Holy Spirit grows stronger. The same can be said for a healthy marriage, time does not drive the couple away from each other but rather pulls them closer together.
The Word of God says:
“The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.” (Haggai 29 NKJV)
The secret to finding peace in your love life, stems from inviting the Holy Spirit to be in the centre of your relationship. If you want to see the fulfilment of this, don’t miss this purpose which will commence this week at the Love Therapy Seminar.
Over the 5 following Thursdays (13 June – 11 July) we will be investing in the glory of the latter temple in your love life. For both couples and singles, the aim is to build a happy relationship that glorifies God.
Join us every Thursday at 8pm with your Bible, notebook and a pen to make the most of this special purpose.
All the branches in London will be meeting at the Cathedral of Miracles, however, if you live outside London you can take part of this meeting via livestream at your local Universal Church. Don’t miss this!
