The Fruit of the Holy Spirit – Gentleness and self-control

The-Wednesday-of-the-Fruit-of-the-Holy-Spirit-Peace

In a world where being meek is a sign of weakness, the Bible teaches us that true strength is in knowing how to deal with people:

“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5 NKJV)

Meekness, not to be confused with passivity, is the quality of understanding people’s differences and flaws, as well as being willing to submit to other people’s suggestions and ideas.

To practice this quality, a great amount of patience and humility is required, which comes solely from the Holy Spirit.

That’s why this week, in all our Universal Churches, the study about the Fruit of the Holy Spirit will continue; we will be emphasising on gentleness (otherwise known as meekness) and self-control.

This will be the final day of this study, so don’t miss this opportunity to invest in your inner-self and draw closer to the Source of everlasting peace. Join us every Wednesday at your local Universal Church for a transformative Bible study.
