A recent case revealed that a 62-year-old man travelled to Brazil to finally meet his virtual girlfriend.
However, upon arrival on Wednesday, 3 April, his alleged girlfriend did not show up and even blocked him on all her social media networks. Without money to return to his country, he received shelter from a police officer who demonstrated sympathy towards him.
