Do you wish you could hear God’s voice and comprehend what He says to you?
Did you know, that in many ways He already has been speaking to you but you may just need to learn how to listen to Him? This is because He speaks to all of us in various ways, can you identity with any of them below?
There are various places in the Bible where Jesus asks us to look at nature. Like when he told anxious people to look at the birds, who don’t worry about what they will eat, yet God provides for them (Matthew 6:26-30).
King Solomon also said: “Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.” (Proverbs 6: 6-8)
Did you know that when human beings look for encouragement, many look to the sky? Isn’t that curious?
Many find peace in rain sounds or the aesthetic of green forests and other natural sceneries. This is Biblical, as God can be seen in everything that He has created:
“The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork,” (Psalm 19:1).
It’s like they say, it takes a lot more faith to believe creation came from an explosion than to believe in a creative Mind behind it.
This is the main way God speaks to someone. In the past, when a boy liked a girl or a girl liked a boy, they would write them a them love letter. In a way, the Bible is God’s love letter to us. Through His Word He declares His love, who He is, what He thinks of us and what He intends to do in us and through us.
Most people have access to the Bible, yet they never open it. Could this be the reason why humanity has never been so far from the presence of God?
The Bible highlights this in Hosea:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children,” (Hosea 4:6 NKJV).
