Are you a student who aspires to excel in your studies but have found yourself facing constant obstacles?
You’re not alone, in fact, an article from the BBC news stated that this year many university applicants were caught by surprise by their A-level results.
A-level results in the UK “have fallen for a second year running”, with 73,008 fewer top grades compared with 2022. For many this meant being rejected on their chosen university applications and having to search for course vacancies through clearing, an online system by UCAS advertising courses with spaces yet to be filled.
Events such as these can be very discouraging, however, it doesn’t have to stop you from reaching your academic goals. God promised in His word to bless the work of all those who are faithful to Him and depend on Him entirely.
That’s why the secret to becoming an exceptional student is to place God first.
A member of the Victory Youth Group (VYG – a youth network of the Universal Church) said, “before coming to the VYG, I struggled a lot in my education. But when I came, I decided not to do things by my own strength, but to depend on God. Now, I’m a graduate in Biomedical Science.”
If you are a student of any age and would like to receive the blessing of God upon your studies, you are invited to attend this special meeting at your local Universal Church this Sunday, “The Blessing of the Students”.
Where a prayer will be dedicated to you during the service and you will have the opportunity to present the next academic year into God’s hands, in exchange for His wisdom, guidance and strength.
Bring something that represents your studies, such as a pen you use, and don’t forget to invite a friend to join you for this special blessing.
