This upcoming Saturday the Universal Church will host The Community Care event, taking place from 11am-2pm. The event aims to give attention to even the most neglected in society, so if you or someone you know is in need, don’t miss this!
Financial difficulty and homelessness are growing problems in the UK, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for some to provide for their family. Our local projects for the community such as Foodbanks and Soup Kitchens have been greatly appreciated by those who most need it and has benefitted many – which is why we have decided to do more!
Our volunteers in selected locations will be providing various services (free of charge) as a demonstration of their care for the community. In our headquarters in Finsbury Park, we will have our weekly food bank as normal, as well as free clothes, pampering, haircuts and a hot sit-down meal. In some of our locations we will also be offering freshly made juices and 1-2-1 advice with one of our advisors. You can pop into your local UCKG HelpCentre and speak with a volunteer to find out more about what will be available near you. Our volunteers are looking forward to receiving you and ensuring you are well cared for on the day.
