Over the past few weeks, we have been sharing the importance of truly being a child of God and how it requires obedience and sacrifice.
Everything in life that is great requires sacrifice, there are no shortcuts. God Himself knew this all too well as He sacrificed His only Son for the salvation of humanity.
Today He expects us to surrender our lives in His hands, it’s His sacrifice for our sacrifice, it’s less talk and more action! It’s essentially allowing God to take the lead over your life, it’s trusting and surrendering yourself to Him.
Maybe you have surrendered yourself to others and have experienced hurt and pain, however, God is perfect and will not fail those who give their lives to Him, in return He only has the best to offer you.
This Sunday we invite you to participate in the Lord’s Supper of Surrender. On this special occasion, you will take the bread and juice as a symbol of your life for His life.
God has so much more to offer than what we have to give Him, so why hold back?
