à vida difícil, existe alguma coisa impossível para Deus?, necessidades das pessoas,
Going out with children is a challenge in a world of so much color and the appeal of novelty. If it is difficult for an adult to control himself, imagine for the little ones. Which mother has not warned before going out with her son that she would not be able to buy certain things. And if the warning was not given before, it is possible to see a tantrum show.
Sometimes, the warning is given after the child looks at that toy or that snack, and with that little face that breaks a parent’s heart into a thousand pieces, says: “I want it.” No father or mother says no with pleasure, they usually say not to satisfy all the wishes of their children – which is not healthy – but sometimes it is even because they do not have the resources to buy what the child wants.
Filipino Ryan Arebuabo, 38, knows what it is. 2 years ago, due to the difficult life they led, his wife separated from him. Even with all the difficulties, for being a loving father, the three children decided to stay with him. They all live in a poor neighborhood in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, and, to support themselves, Arebuabo works as a sweeper and also sells food.
Despite this life story, until a few days ago he was just another unknown face in one of the most populous cities in Asia. However, that changed when he decided to satisfy the desire of two of his children to eat at a fast food joint . For that he had to save money and, even so, it was only enough to buy snacks for the children, he watched while the children ate. A restaurant customer photographed the moment. The image caused an impact on social media. As the story of this dedicated father was publicized, many donated food and clothing for the children.
This story reveals something that the Lord Jesus himself highlighted, and that many forget, about the character of God:
“And what father among you, if his son asks him for bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks him for a fish, will he give him a serpent for a fish? a scorpion? For if you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?” Luke 11.11-13
Many have experienced problems and have tried to solve them on their own, but they forget how much God, as the loving Father that He is, takes great pleasure in meeting people’s needs .
If this father, even without any condition, preferred to be without so that his children’s wishes were met, then imagine the pleasure that God takes in seeing a person’s joy in having his prayer answered by Him?
All this the Lord Jesus spoke to emphasize the importance of perseverance in prayer. Perseverance shows that you believe that person will serve you. When we ask, but give up in the face of any obstacle, especially delay, it’s as if we were saying “I don’t think He’s going to be able to help me”. But is there anything impossible for God? (Luke 1.37)
Therefore, persevere in God.
“Until now you have asked nothing in My name; ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16.24
