It is impossible to conduct life in this world without the presence of the Holy Spirit. He is the one who brings strength and wisdom for the children of God to overcome daily challenges and fights against the devil.

When the Lord Jesus was resurrected, he told his disciples that he would leave the Holy Spirit to take care of us:

“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; you know Him, because He dwells with you and will be in you.” (John 14.16:17)

Therefore, it is important that you have the desire not only to know the Spirit of God , but to have Him in your life.

1) It is through the Holy Spirit that we reach the presence of the Lord Jesus:

“No one can come to Me unless the Father, who sent Me, draws him…” (John 6:44)

3) It is the Holy Spirit who helps us to understand the things of God:

4) The Holy Spirit lives within us :

“Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” (1 Corinthians 6.19)

5) The Holy Spirit gives us power over evil:

“…but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

6) The Holy Spirit intercedes for the children of God:

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the same Spirit intercedes for us exceedingly, with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Romans 8.26)
