A lot can happen in one week. Lessons can be learnt, wrongs can be made right, and lives can change.
Jesus proved that a week could bring about a new beginning during the seven days leading up to His death and resurrection, what is more commonly known as Holy Week.
Holy Week begins with His entrance into Jerusalem – the triumphal entry – on Palm Sunday and is marked thereafter by a series of poignant events that are revered by Christians all over the world.
Everything that Jesus did had a purpose, and His aim was always to teach and give people a chance to receive the life that only He could offer. Throughout the Holy Week, He set examples for all of us to learn from and follow.
Maybe you have been longing for your life to be different, to be new. You have searched down every avenue but always seem come to a dead end. Why not allow God to do something new in you?
Join us at your local Universal Church for the Holy Week from Sunday, 13 April to Sunday, 20 April. In every meeting throughout the week, we will extract lessons from each event that took place and discover how they can be applied to our own lives to change it for the better.
Many people were not the same again during the Holy Week when Jesus was there with them. He impacted their lives greatly and He can do the same for you today!

Sunday 13th April
Triumphal entry
Jesus enters Jerusalem and is welcomed by a crowd that acclaims Him as King. This event became known as the “Triumphal Entry.” People cheered for Him and waved palm branches.
“The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: ‘Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! The King of Israel!’” (John 12:12–13).
Bring a palm branch to be anointed and consecrated to declare that Jesus will triumphantly enter your life as well.

The Power of Faith and the Fulfilment of the Prophecy
Jesus cursed a fig tree that bore no fruit—a symbolic act that demonstrates the power of spoken faith, even in seemingly unchangeable situations. It was not the season for figs, yet the tree appeared fruitful. Jesus used this moment to teach the disciples the power of faith (see Mark 11:12–14).
Does your well-being seem fruitless? Speak faith into your situation and join us in prayer.
Join us for the service at 7:30pm (also at 10am & 3pm)

On this night, Jesus shared His final meal with the disciples, leaving behind powerful lessons found in John chapters 12–18. He demonstrated love and humility by washing their feet.“If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.” (John 13:14)
