The upper room represents a place of prayer. It is a special space, separated from everything else with the sole purpose of entreating God. These 21 days will be to earnestly seek the outpouring of the Holy Spirit just like on the day of Pentecost. You cannot go back in time to the Cenacle or fly out to Jerusalem on a whim, but you can create your very own ‘upper room’ right there where you are.

Prepare a special place that will be your meeting spot with God. Make sure it’s a quiet space where there are no distractions, a location where you can keep your Bible and notebook and consecrate it so that throughout the Fast of Daniel, each time you go to your ‘upper room’, God will be speaking to you profoundly.
