challenging God, edir macedo, God, His Power, real or fake,
It’s not difficult to do a test and see if something is real or fake. All you have to do is follow directions to see what happens next and, in so doing, the result will show whether the information you received is true or false, if it works or not, if it’s real or fake.
People do this every day. For example, they try a product – a diet, they use a GPS, follow a doctor’s instructions, follow parents or a friend’s advice, etc., and are assured of the result. However, it is not the same when it comes to challenging God. People resist when it comes down to doing what He says to get results?
God invites us to, “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this”, says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessings that there will not be room enough to receive it” (Malachi 3:10).
It is extremely simple—you do what He advises (bring all the tithes) and see the results (if He pours out blessings without measure or not), then will you know if these words are true or false. Not only can you do this with tithes, but with all the promises of the Most High.
God doesn’t only give us the right to challenge His Word, but also invites us to do so. He is most interested in you seeing His Power in action, of you 2what He does and Who He is but, for this to happen, you need to do for the Most High what you already do for man. How difficult can this be?
If you do not have the courage to accept the simple, but decisive, invitation from God, then it’s because of two things: either you are afraid to find out that you’ve believed in the wrong thing all of your life or, you already know the truth, but prefer to live a lie.

It's true that people find it difficult to give the best to God when it comes to tithes and offering but when stated clearly that we should taste Him and see if He doesn't opened the flat gates of heaven to pour out the blessings that was promised.

Yes bishop. God did promise to open the gates and bless us abundantly and one thing that I know is that His words don't leave us without doing the work, all I need to do is to test him and follow His instructions.
