There are days when we “wake up on the wrong side of the bed”. Surely, you can recall a day like this. It’s raining and the clouds are grey and nothing seems to be going right – you just want that day to end so that a new one can begin.
Fortunately, those days pass. However, for some, they don’t and this is their daily reality…
It’s as if there is a burden on their shoulders and grey clouds follow them wherever they go. Their life is a cycle of sadness, bad news and oppression.
If you are reading this and identify with this situation, know that there is Someone waiting for you to come to Him. He wants to remove your burdens and alleviate every negative load that is on your shoulders.
These were His own words:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
When one’s soul is tired it becomes difficult even to rest as the body will struggle to switch off. Remember, the body, soul and spirit are all linked.
There is a meeting for those who feel like this and want to find spiritual support to combat this weariness in the soul.
Join us this Sunday at your nearest Universal church at 10am (or at 7:30am). On this day, the ‘life in colour’ group will be at hand to assist anyone who has a tired soul.
Therefore, don’t miss this opportunity: “Come to Me”, and take part of the Lord’s Supper.
Event: Come to Me
Date and Time: Sunday, 17 March at 10am (also at 7.30am)
Location: At your local Universal Church
